WikiToday is a very important day for the Internet. Many sites have ‘Gone Dark’ to protest Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and its sibling the Protect IP Act (PIPA). Among those, some of the more mainstream sites are Wikipedia, Reddit, icanhazCheezburger, TwitPic, Mozilla and WordPress.org.

The potential impact of this legislation on the Internet and how we use it for learning is beyond concerning. It is important that we make sure our communities understand just how important this issue is. With this in mind, here are a few of the more engaging resources you can use to help your students understand the implications of this legislation.
