Over the past year we’ve had a lot of great feedback from readers suggesting ways we can bring EdTech enthusiasm into the classroom. One recent suggestion was to put our Tweeted quotes on to printed classroom posters… Well, hopefully we’ve gone one better.

This Weeks Classroom Poster

This week’s quote comes from Oliver Wendell Holmes, an American physician, poet, professor, lecturer, and author. A highly educated man, Oliver understood the value of ideas. The same ideas that have seen technology start to revolutionize learning. The same ideas that inspire students to follow their dreams. And the same ideas that force us to look at the world through a new and more educated lens.

This poster hopes to inspire students to value the immensity of new ideas. To challenge ideas that are taken for granted. And to generate their own ideas that can change the perspectives of those around them.

One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.

We are planning to bring more and more posters to the collection over coming months. As part of this, we really want to hear your feedback. What do you want to see on your classroom walls? What images and words inspire your students to be their best? And what other forms can these messages take? iPad covers? Books?

If you have any great ideas or specific designs you’d like to see in future classroom posters and wallpapers, let us know in the comments below or drop us a line!
