All of the completed animals are fully playable and are high quality. I was surprised how intricate and detailed it was but the Creator series are very ingenious sets with lots of replay value. The animals are all very expressive, the eyebrows on the cat are my favorite, and they all have lots of adjustable body parts.

The LEGO Creator Treehouse set builds the treehouse, lakeside hut, and farmyard barn. The Lego figurines can even enjoy the night sky from their treehouse view with the included Lego telescope. This is a fun and playable set that works well combined with other sets. It’s an excellent set for the price tag; there’s a lot of neat details and three sets of instructions to rebuild and reconfigure. As well as that, you’ll find loads of fun little bits, there’s a pizza, dog, lift bucket, water ambush and treasure map. The ladder for the tree house lifts up and the trap door can be sealed too—just like real life!

The LEGO Creator Parisian Restaurant is a beautifully detailed “expert” creator set. It includes five mini figures and a kitchen stocked with a variety of appliances and utensils for the tiny chef. A romantic couple can be served by the waiter out on the terrace. This set is labeled for ages 16+ but younger makers, especially experienced Lego builders used to the City Collection, will enjoy building this set with the assistance of a parent or older sibling. This is arguably the greatest creation in the Best LEGO Creator sets series. It takes a long time to build, but the finished product is definitely worth it. You’ll wish it came with a display stand.

Add to your ever-growing Lego town with the LEGO Creator Bike Shop and Cafe. As with many of the Lego creator sets, this sets rebuilds into other buildings, this time a flower shop or auto repair shop. It includes mini figures, a car, and even a buildable bird. Not only this, because there are lots of “special” pieces in this set, it’s much more than just basic bricks. Hinged pieces allow the buildings to open and close so you can see inside. This is a pretty simple build that doesn’t take that long to complete. Even better, it’s a fun play set for both boys and girls… maybe even some Moms and Dads too!

Another 3-in-1 set, the LEGO Creator Fierce Flyer builds into an eagle, scorpion, and a beaver. It’s a fun build with an excellent price point. The wings and talons are articulated for lots of play and posing. This Lego creator set is quite different from all other Lego sets as the featured animals are not of the usual variety!

LEGO Creator Family House
All of those Lego mini figures in your child’s Lego town are going to need somewhere to live. The LEGO Creator Family House builds a lovely open plan house, or an industrial factory, or a Mediterranean villa. The finished house is fully playable and even has a working light which is pretty cool! For the price, this is an awesome gift and I quote “the best lego creator sets gift ever” according to my niece.
