Easter Apps

Enough with the chocolate! I have seriously had more chocolate in the last week than Augustus Gloop on a Creme Egg binge. And the only way I know to distract myself from this Easter madness is to pull out the iPad and start (sticky) tapping.

As a chocolate alternative this year, here are seven of the most engaging, enjoyable and elegant Easter apps for this hefty holiday:

Engaging Easter Apps

Flappy Bunny Adventure

1. Flappy Bunny Adventure

Riding on the ‘flappy’ wave that has swept touch screens around the world, “Flappy Bunny” is one of the nicest re-creations going. Beautiful graphics and addictive gameplay could definitely make this app an Easter favourite.

Is it a bird, is it a plane? No, it’s Flappy Bunny! Pilot Flappy in his carrot jet as he makes his way through the garden. It may look easy but it’s not, one mistake and you’ll be in the dirt! – The bright and cheerful art in this game was created by Warhorse Games own Kayla (age 6). – View in iTunes

Visual Poetry - Word Collage

2. Visual Poetry – Word Collage

Having just introduced some fun Easter style presets, “Visual Poetry” is a nice way to inject some creativity into the holiday this year. Simply choose your shape, type in your poem and in seconds you will have a stunning mosaic.

Make beautiful text collages with Visual Poetry. Type your text or phrase and watch it instantly arranged as a mosaic in a variety of shapes and styles. 24 symbols are included or you can draw you own shapes. Pinch and drag to resize and rotate individual words. – View in iTunes

Pocket Egg Race

3. Pocket Egg Race

As an Apple’s ‘Editors’ Choice’, “Pocket Egg Race” is a brand new app that is a whole heap of cracking (pun intended) fun.

With “Pocket Egg Race” children can join a fun and entertaining journey of an egg that is heading to their breakfast plate. :) A great looking, funny board game with lots of activity! – View in iTunes

Doodle Jump Easter Special

6. Doodle Jump Easter Special

It is one of the most popular games ever created… And now it comes with added chocolate! And best of all, this Easter app is totally free! A fun and interactive game for kids and adults, Doodle Jump uses the accelerometer (tilting the device) to control your character, taking gameplay and engagement  to a whole new level.

It wouldn’t be fair to conclude the list without an Easter ‘selfie’ app. “Bunny Yourself” does just what it says… Turn yourself into a bunny this Easter!

Transform your everyday photos into something unique with Bunny Yourself!

  • 1- Take a photo or choose from your camera roll.
  • 2- Transform your photo by adding bunny ears. Scaling and rotating is supported.
