Green Screen iPad

Educator, Technology Consultant and self confessed iPad guru, Jonathan Wylie, is a master of teaching with the tablet. He is also a pretty dab hand at instructional videos. In a recent tutorial, Jonathan shows how he uses Green Screen by Do Ink and a piece of green muslin cloth to make some very cool effects.

Green screen activities have really taken off in schools and homes as it has gone from something only George Lucas could afford, to something anyone with an iPad can do. Depending on how much time and effort you want to put into the process, you and your students could do anything from go skydiving, to starring in a video game, to creating your very own elaborate artwork.

As Jonathan suggests, you can also use tools like iMovie to add finishing touches, audio and more advanced effects. If you want to learn more about using green screen effects with your class, check out Jonathan’s detailed guide for further tips.

Green Screen by Do Ink costs $2.99 and is available on iTunes.
